the room-installation "why" was created in my former studio in vienna. a former hair-cuttery with shop-window was modified to a public showroom. after tiling the room, liquid soap was applicated on the tiles to form a three-dimensional typo, which was perspectively distorted in order to be read from the outside of the shop-window like on a two-dimensional screen.
