the title of the exhibition "faithful structures-serious places" is due to my interest in architecture with political or religious significance. the digital drawings are an assemblage of vertical and horizontal lines of various thickness, drawn with a stone-pattern pen. their reduced and abstract style accounts for my sometimes pointless search for common structures and patterns. the drawings were printed on aluminiumplate and framed with u-profile bars.
"social-patterning" is a description for a series of works, which are dealing with stereotypes and dresscodes. the fashion drawings are structured like sewing pattern. they were printed on aluminiumplate and integrated in heavy-duty-shelves. the exhibition was held in the aacollection gallery and the parallel art fair in vienna 2021. |
